Midhurst Sports Clubs
Cowdray Park Golf ClubCowdray is set in lovely downland to the north east of Midhurst and has fabulous views across the Rother Valley towards Heyshott and the Downs. The course is pretty good too, but it's the countryside that is the highlight.
Cowdray PoloLike medieval warfare without the blood and guts, the charge of the polo ponies is an awesome spectacle which has to be experienced at least once.
Cowdray Polo is undeniably posh, but there's a big enough crowd for the big matches for newcomers to feel comfortable and enjoy themselves.
Highly recommended - and the Cowdray Polo website gives a very accurate picture of what the real thing is like.
